I love my vitamix. Been using it for 25+ years. Its quick, fast, and powerful. You actually have to be careful and not over do it, as it will turn everything into a liquid fast. Also, the 3 pre-programmed settings come in handy, so you don’t overheat or overcook your juices and destroy the enzymes. Other models don’t have this feature. I’ve used it to make juices, smoothies, soups, and stews.
It is pricey, but very worth it. Years ago when I was busy in the clinic, I would go to a local juice bar at least 1x per day to get a liver detox juice with wheat grass. Then I realized I was spending over $100 per month. That’s when I decided to get my own Vitamix juicer, which in the long run has saved me over $1,000. It is noisy, but gets the job done in less than a minute. Please do not put a whole beet into the juicer, as the lid will break as a result. That’s why in my Liver Cleanse Juice Formula, I mention cutting the carrots and beets into small 1/4″ chunks.
Compared to any other juicer I’ve ever used, this one is the easiest to clean. I simply add 1 cup of water, 2 drops of organic dish soap, and turn it on. I rinse it out once, and done. It’s all completed in less than 2 minutes.

This is the first juicer I ever bought, I really like this one made out of stainless steel. There’s no plastic that leeches BPA, or other harmful chemicals into the juice. This product is extremely powerful with 1,000 watts, so I can take 1/2 a beet and push it through with no problem. I like the variable speed dial, it really comes in handy!
This juicer has a locking arm is a bit stiff to get into proper position on top, however it is very secure. I like to be able to save the pulp for other uses. This juicer is not as noisy as the Vitamix, and is a little more labor intensive to clean. It has to be taken apart and requires a few extra minutes compared to the Vitamix, as each piece needs to be cleaned individually. The pieces are small enough to fit in the dishwasher if you choose.
This juicer really has a lot of pluses, I recommend this one as a good beginner juicer which doesn’t contain any toxic plastics. This is necessary to have a clean, liver detoxifying juice to drink daily.
I became familiar with this product about 6 months ago, and I am impressed how it separates the juice from the pulp and produces a great juice.
I really like my vitamax, and I always have to keep turning the intensity down so as not to overheat my juices and denature the vitamins and nutrients. This juicer uses a slow rotating masticating technique, which does not destroy enzymes or vitamins.
Most masticating juicers are made with PBA plastic, this one uses a stainless steel inner mechanism and hospital-grade non-toxic plastic, a high quality TRITAN food grade anti-oxidation materials. Having high quality materials is key when juicing high acidic components such as lemon juice, so it does not break down or wear out. This masticating juicer is easier to clean compared to others, which includes a reverse direction setting that helps to prevent any clogging. I find myself using this juicer more than my others.
